The Appliance Barn – Delivery Policy

We offer local delivery for our customers to make the appliance buying process simple and convenient. Below are the full details of our delivery policy, including what is and isn’t included with your delivery.


Delivery Area & Radius

We deliver within a 50-mile radius of our store located at 1386 Saratoga St, DeLand, FL 32724. Delivery distance is calculated based on actual driving distance (not as the crow flies). Some exceptions may apply outside of this area, depending on scheduling, availability, and order size. Please contact us directly to inquire about out-of-area delivery.


Delivery Scheduling

We strive to deliver your appliances as soon as possible after your purchase. Delivery dates are based on availability and route efficiency. We will communicate with you to coordinate the best possible time. Deliveries are generally made during daylight hours, but timing may vary based on route demand.


What Delivery Includes

Delivery includes curbside drop-off or placement in a garage, carport, or covered area near the home. Our staff will unload the appliance(s) from the vehicle and set them down safely at the agreed drop-off location. If indoor placement is requested, it is not guaranteed and may be offered at our discretion, depending on accessibility, conditions, and liability.


What Delivery Does Not Include

Delivery does not include entering the home or navigating stairs, narrow hallways, or tight corners. Stairs may be subject to an additional fee, depending on difficulty and safety. Delivery does not include any damage that occurs after drop-off or as a result of customer handling, nor does it include connecting water, gas, or electrical lines unless installation service has been arranged.


Access & Delivery Conditions

The delivery area must be clear and accessible. We are not responsible for damage to property such as landscaping, floors, doors, walls, or fixtures if indoor or tight-space delivery is requested. If delivery is refused due to space or accessibility issues, a re-delivery fee may apply. If no one is present to receive the delivery at the scheduled time, the delivery may be rescheduled, and additional fees may apply.


Liability & Responsibility

Once the appliance is delivered and accepted at your property, responsibility transfers to the customer. We are not liable for any injuries, damage, or issues caused by customer handling after delivery. Customers are encouraged to inspect their appliances upon delivery. Any noticeable damage must be reported to our staff immediately.

Delivery & Warranty

If your appliance was delivered and a warranty claim is needed, you are not required to bring the appliance back to us. We will coordinate service based on your delivery history. For more details, please refer to our Warranty Policy.
