Installation & Haul Away Policy
Installation Policy
We offer installation services for a flat rate of $25 to help make the appliance setup process easier and more convenient for our customers. As part of this service, we will provide the necessary hoses, plugs, and venting materials needed to ensure a proper and functional connection for most standard installations.
While we do our best to complete every installation efficiently and professionally, there are situations where installation may not be possible. If the installation area is unsafe, incompatible, obstructed, or not up to standard, we are not required to complete the installation. This includes issues like damaged water valves, outdated electrical outlets, restricted access, or connections that require alterations beyond basic setup. However, we will always do our best to assist and offer guidance if installation cannot be performed.
The Appliance Barn is not liable for any damage to water lines, gas valves, electrical outlets, venting systems, or other utility connections that may occur during the installation process. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the installation area is in suitable condition prior to delivery.
Our goal is to provide a smooth and stress-free experience, and we’re happy to help as long as the conditions allow for a safe and proper installation.
Appliance Haul-Away Policy
As a courtesy to our customers, we offer free haul-away of your old appliance(s) when you purchase and have a replacement unit delivered by The Appliance Barn.
We will disconnect the old appliance for you as part of the haul-away process, as long as there are no complications or safety concerns. This includes basic disconnections from water lines, standard electrical outlets, and dryer vents. However, we do not disconnect gas lines or remove appliances that are hardwired, built-in, or require special tools unless previously arranged.
To qualify for haul-away, the appliance must be similar in type and size to the item being delivered, located in a space that is accessible and safe, and not excessively dirty, damaged, hazardous, or infested. If there are obstructions, unsafe conditions, or anything that puts our team or equipment at risk, we may not be able to complete the haul-away.
We reserve the right to refuse haul-away service at our discretion. Our team will assess the situation on-site, and if the removal cannot be completed safely or reasonably, we will explain the reason and may suggest alternative disposal options.
Haul-away is meant to make your appliance upgrade easier, and we do our best to accommodate whenever possible — safely, efficiently, and at no extra charge.
We reserve the right to refuse haul-away if the appliance is in poor condition, the area is unsafe, or if there are disconnection issues beyond what we can safely manage.
Haul-away is always provided at our discretion, and our delivery team will make the final call on-site. If haul-away cannot be completed, we will explain the reason and offer suggestions for alternative disposal options if available.
