Where do we get our appliances?
At The Appliance Barn, we take pride in offering quality used appliances you can trust — and that starts with knowing exactly where they come from.
Our inventory is sourced from a variety of trusted and reputable channels, including:
- Accredited suppliers who specialize in testing and reconditioning units to meet high performance standards.
- Major retail chains, typically removed during upgrades to new models
- Hotels, apartment complexes, and property managers during remodels, often resulting in large batches of gently used, fully functional appliances.
- Remodels through licensed contractors, where appliances are replaced for cosmetic or sizing reasons rather than performance issues.
- Other responsible sources that allow us to deliver great appliances at affordable prices.
In fact, many of the appliances we sell require no repairs at all. Each unit is carefully inspected and tested to ensure proper function before it ever reaches the sales floor. We never sell appliances that have undergone major repairs or major component replacements — our standard is simple: if it’s not reliable, we don’t sell it.
Units that do not meet our standards or require extensive repairs are recycled for parts. These parts are used save lives of other appliances. This process not only supports sustainability — it ensures our customers get the best value and the most dependable products possible.
When you buy from The Appliance Barn, you’re getting more than just a great deal — you’re getting an appliance that’s been carefully selected, responsibly sourced, and backed by people who care.
